Grow Revenue and Your Company with Effective Marketing

To a great extent, taking your business to a new level is about growing revenue and that requires a well thought out sales and marketing effort. The first step is developing an effective marketing strategy. John Sancin offers a proven market planning process that helps you identify and seize markets that will grow your company.

Marketing Strategy Development Process
A Marketing Strategy begins with detailed research about the market, trends, and competition. Information is compiled, analyzed, and summarized into a concise marketing presentation that gives you a complete overview of the playing field.

Once research is complete, the information is presented to selected executives and managers at a strategic marketing planning session. The marketing planning session follows the format of a proven, unique, market planning process. Marketing planning sessions are conducted over a three day time period at a time and place convenient to you. The following marketing and business topics are covered:

bullet Converge on a Single Mission or Vision  - Review history, background, and the current mission. Refine the mission based on markets and products that will produce the best return on your financial and resource investments.

bullet Survey the Market and the Competition - Prior to marketing planning, market research is conducted to identify market size, needs and trends by geography and vertical markets. Next, we establish a target market based on ideal customers. The marketing survey is completed with a review and assessment the competition.

bullet Contrast Existing Operations Against Targeted Markets - The existing customer base is compared to the target market evaluating sales and marketing coverage within the target market. Product and service offerings are compared to market needs. The Company and product offerings are contrasted with the competition.

The final step of this phase is to
differentiate your business and product offerings from the competition and identify those attributes that make you unique and can be translated into a marketing positioning statement..

bullet Targets and Goals - Establish 3 year revenue projections, market share targets, and product mix objectives. Identify any other specific marketing objectives.

bullet Chart an Approach - Once targets are set, it is time to create marketing and business strategies to go after the market. We identify sales methods and channels, determine product direction and create a marketing strategy that positions the Company and products within the market place.

bullet Organize - We identify the marketing and other resources required to implement the marketing plan and the organizational structure required to support it. We also identify costs associated with implementation of the marketing strategy.

bullet Execute - When it comes to marketing, there are no good ideas, just good implementations. We develop a detailed implementation schedule with time frames and defined responsibilities for the marketing strategy.
